Mereka mengumumkan jajaran konsol, controller, dan bundle bertema Ghost of Yotei yang bakal rilis bareng gamenya pada 2 Oktober mendatang. Desainnya terinspirasi dari Sumi-e, seni lukis Jepang yang menggunakan tinta hitam di atas kertas. Keduanya hadir dengan DualSense controller yang punya desain serasi dan bisa dibeli terpisah kalau kamu sudah punya PS5 sebelumnya.
Buat yang sudah punya PS5, Sony juga menyiapkan Console Covers khusus untuk PS5 standar maupun PS5 Pro. Aksesori ini bakal dijual langsung di PlayStation Store untuk wilayah tertentu, dan hadir dalam jumlah terbatas di tempat lain. Menurut Jason Connell, sang creative director, desain konsol dan controller ini diambil dari elemen inti game seperti fokus pada eksplorasi, ikon-ikon peta bergaya lukisan tangan, efek kintsugi dari topeng Ghost milik Atsu, dan goresan kuas yang mirip dengan lukisan Sumi-e. Gunung Yōtei yang menjulang jadi pusat desain konsol, sementara sosok Atsu disorot di DualSense controller-nya. Semua detail ini dipikirkan matang supaya terasa menyatu dengan tema game.

Sony juga baru saja menayangkan State of Play selama 20 menit yang mendalami fitur-fitur baru dari Ghost of Yotei, sebagai sekuel Ghost of Tsushima. Game ini bakal rilis eksklusif di PS5 pada 2 Oktober. Selain itu, Sucker Punch juga sudah menyiapkan Collector’s Edition yang super lengkap. Edisi ini berisi semua bonus pre-order, item digital Deluxe Edition, serta replika topeng Ghost milik Atsu yang dibuat seukuran dengan topeng Jin dari Collector’s Edition Ghost of Tsushima.
